Denver, CO – August 12, 2011 – Over 40 Colorado non-profit cancer organizations, 1,400 participants and 125 volunteers came together for one mission: to partner in the fight against cancer at the third annual Step Up for Cancer event, which took place at Dick's Sporting Goods Park last Sunday, August 7th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The third annual event will take place at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on August 7th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.. With an estimated 20,000 Coloradoans being diagnosed with cancer each year, this event was developed to initiate awareness, fundraising and education in a healthy stair climbing event to ultimately bridge a cure for cancer.
